Danitello

Danitello, born Daniel Okas, is a producer, classically trained pianist, and musician from Lahti with a perfect pitch. Beyond Europe, Danitello’s work has made a major global impact. His production credits include Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated albums Love, Damini (Cloak & Dagger feat. J. Hus) and I Told Them (Big 7), which also topped the charts in the UK. In total, his contributions in Burna Boy’s projects have earned Danitello three Grammy nominations. He was also part of the production team behind Chino Pacas, Fuerza Regida, and Drake's hit Modo Capone. Over recent years, Danitello has spent extensive time working across Europe, particularly in London and Berlin, alongside world-class artists. In London he has set records producing three tracks on Tom Grennan’s UK number-one album (Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn't Want to Be). In Berlin, he kicked off his success on the German charts by securing two Top 25 Airplay hits with Moss Kena’s Rhythm Unknown and Jack Dean’s Mercy. Domestically, he released his own producer album Tello Tape, featuring singles such as Mitä mul ei oo (ft. Mirella), Jos se must on kii (ft. Ares & Elastinen), and Ei hyvää ilman pahaa (ft. Jami Faltin), all of which reached the Spotify Finland Top 15 (#2, #8, and #15 respectively). He has also produced projects for artists including Robin Packalen, BEE, Costi, and HUGO, while also producing Mirella’s chart-topping single Vähän enemmän. His work has repeatedly climbed to the top of Finnish radio charts, including Häitä pidelly by Robin Packalen (#1), Vaisto by Costi (#2) and Kirsikat by Evelina (#8). Danitello has also been nominated for Producer of the Year at the Emma Gala for three consecutive years: 2024, 2025, and 2026. Danitello’s uncompromising work ethic, unique musical perspective, and ability to blend genres have quickly elevated him into an internationally respected producer. His passion for pop music and ambition to build a global career continue to strengthen not only his own position, but also the visibility of Finnish music on the international stage.
