Alex Leone, born Aleksi Asiala, is a composer and producer from Helsinki who has built an impressive career both in Finland and internationally. Known for his versatility and meticulous attention to detail, his uncompromising approach has firmly established him within both domestic and global music markets. Throughout a career spanning more than a decade, Alex Leone’s highlights include multiple critically acclaimed and commercially successful Finnish releases, as well as a Grammy nomination in 2018 (60th Annual Grammy Awards – Best Urban Contemporary Album: FREE 6LACK). Internationally, his collaborative network extends to artists such as G-Eazy, particularly on the track Bone Marrow. In Finland, Asiala has been recognized as a pioneer of modern hip-hop production through his innovative and unwavering vision for the genre. He has collaborated with major artists including JVG and Lauri Haav, producing several of their successful releases. Most recently, Alex Leone was responsible for the production of No Haav No Love by Lauri Haav, as well as Haav’s performances on Vain Elämää (Season 16). He was also nominated for Producer of the Year at the Emma Gala in 2025. More broadly, his extensive discography spans a wide range of projects, reflecting his adaptability and deep understanding of multiple musical genres.
